It isn't even a story where we see a super strong girl lose her powers (and it is used as a fetish) or one where she is defeated by a stronger guy and gets humiliated. Sure she was the person defending her boyfriend because he was weak, but she didn't really have to have physical strenght in order to showcase that she was the one that "wore the pants" in the relationship.
