Notes: Why "Whoof" instead of "Gofuh"? The onomatopoeia used by the Gyuuki beasts (gofu or gofuh) are presumable meant to emulate the 'aggressive' exhale of air from the bulls' noses. As I was trying to search for an English equivalent, I found words like grunt and bellowing, but "bellow" sounded more obnoxious than "whoof", and "grunt" sounds more like what pigs might do (when not oinking).
