I feel like I'm the only one who's reading too deeply into this and not seeing it as wholesome as everyone else is lol. The comic calls her a 'former' Taimanaan and even mentions that she 'went to' the studio not with the intention of being an AV star.

I'm probably way overthinking porn, but it feels like the "100 videos" she starred in were the thing that broke her into her current state.

Given that this is the same artist that made the doujins where Tatsurou is NTRed away from Yukikaze (or the two of them are NTRed away from each other) because of Shizuru (The blonde with the excessive curves that first shows up in TY2), I wouldn't be surprised to find out that there's a darker element to this whole set-up. We DO know that Rinko, canonically, has the hots for her own brother and is only kept away because she's best friends with Yuki. This would be an excellent way to get her out of the way.

By that same token though... her fate here is infinitely kinder than what happens to Yuki in the aforementioned doujins... and what tends to happen to Taimanin in general during their bad-ends. She actually gets to be happy, which is exceedingly rare for taimanin bad-ends. She also seems to have most of her personality still intact.

On a different direction though... it's not entirely impossible that in a kinder version of the Taimanin universe, a version of Rinko might decide to retire as an AV actress after one too many close calls. This Rinko looks more mature than the OG one, though that's partly because of the art-style... still, it wouldn't surprise me if it turned out that she's 20 or something and said screw it (or screw her...). After all, in the OG Taimanin universe, you'd never find Orcs that actually care about their victims like this...
