No it's not art, it's entirely algorithmic, not artistic. It only *looks* artistic because the algorithm is mashing up actual works of art from people who did not consent to their work being put through an AI meat grinder. This AI is not an actual thinking AI, it's still pretty basic at its core.

If the AI was actually producing art, it would not need direct trained data with accurate tagging to produce images from, it would understand the concepts given from a root level.

Regardless, you need to actually think about what that means for humanity instead of focusing on the selfish desire to have everything you want for free and instantly. That will simply lead to a life of rapid content consumption burnout and failure to ever achieve a sense of purpose. Humans will become obsolescent, even for the things WE WANT TO DO. And no, writing a prompt a few different ways is nothing like being an artist, you're just commissioning work, and that job of writing prompts is also being replaced by AIs as well.

Have empathy and think about the future of humanity, don't be selfish.

By that logic art done by humans isnt art, we also use data to create new stuff, its the same process.

Humanity will learn to adapt, this and other AI stuff will come regardless of anything, some people also got replaced by machines during the industrial revolution, its the same thing here.
Just like normal evolution, technological advances care little about you, adapt or die/become irrelevant.

And i simply see it like this: if its good, i don't give a fuck of its origin, being it a AI or a rapist/mass murderer, the content is good and i will consume it.

Note that the reason these all look pretty similar is that I used same tags with small variations to all of them. It would have been easy to add different backgrounds, animals, expressions, or items.
