A Steven Universe AU where the Diamond Authority blast the Earth with a bomb that shatters every gem on the surface, with the sole exception of Rose Quartz. Mourning the loss of her companions, Rose still decides to have Steven, but her insecurity about his future causes him to be more Rose than Steven.
