I know it's about self-affirmation and wish fulfillment, but even so, it seems excessive. It's the sort of thing that people point to when they say, sincerely, you need professional help. (And I don't mean a "professional" who will give estrogen pills like candy after a single interview.) This is not how you will resolve whatever unresolved issues you have; the more you lose yourself in this fantasy world, the more unhappy you will be that it can never be real.

EDIT: Removed some things that I should not have said because I myself am not a professional. But I *am* speaking from personal experience.

@IngmarS First of all, once upon a time anyone on a site like this would have been deemed "in need of professional help"

Second, you talk with the same ignorant rhetoric that others who are against gender transition do. Tossing in the part about "personal experience" really reads like "I can't be X-ist, I have X friends". If that's not how you intended it to come across, then at least you have to acknowledge how somebody could read what you said and assume hostility?
