The way he draws girls now is really jarring. The girls' faces are in uncanny valley territory. They look realistic but when on top of anime bodies it just looks weird. It's a shame because everything else is pretty good.

I've never seen an artist regress in facial structure. Look at his earlier Kancolle books— they were godlike, and now they're just uncanny-looking with a ton of gloss.
