arigase shinji as artist tag? isnt that just the person who commission the pictures?

all of the art on the pixiv and cg sets are made by other people though.

im confused to why arigase shinji is labled as artist "as in person who draw the art" here and on image boards. i thought the red text for artist only apply to the people who drew the art .
like the person who post gallery of kaban chan kemono friends art isnt the artist of the art and his user name is not a artist tag in the gallery.
i have not seen any art that arigase draw/made herself "without commission other artist" in the doujin or on pixiv.

is this just a mistake by human error or does author also count as artist even when author doesnt draw the pics themselves?
as in past on imageboards the only tag that had "artist red" status for the longest time was arigase shinji even though all the art was made/commisioned by other people/artists.

i thought arigase shinji was just the author/publisher of the doujin , not a artist who draws the art.
as the samples on lolitachannel pixiv is mostly takahama , amashun,negija,muimui with some pics of other artists.
all 434 sets released up to this point was made possible through arigase shinji 'by pay other artist to make art"

where as other circle like othello ice all art is made by shuz "in most doujin , some had other artists art mixed in like the loli baku book from 2010"

just curious and confused , no emotions of negitivity are had , although in my view i dont believe arigase shinji should be considered a artist tag so i personally down vote it as tag , even if that doesnt change anythin.

its my feeling "dont know if anyone else feel the same" but arigase shinji doesnt fit as a artist tag here or on imageboards.
arigase shinji fits more as author tag "if a author tag would ever exist"

Honestly...I'm not sure. All the forums have always listed Arigase as the artist tag despite them being only the commissioner and the owner of the group.
I presume because apart from the most common artists like the ones you listed, sometimes they commission other ones who are not well known or don't have a tag made for them in said forums, so it's likely that taggers find easier to just group everything under the Arigase Shinji tag.

I see your point, and on my part, the least I could do is tag the artists along with Arigase, at least the ones I know and the ones who have a tag already created, since I'm not sure how that whole process works very well.

literally everything is arigase s hinji since arigase shinji is owner of lolitachannel doujin circle.

milk engine for example has the owner as one of the artists but milk engine is just only group tag but not artist tag.

Arigase Shinji is also the writer of the story. However I'm guessing that he also an artist that sometimes you can find his work one or two in a set. Like for example in Chainsaw Man set picture number one and two has style that you can find all the way back to earlier sets. So I think he does count as an artist that way.

However we do recognized some artist he commissioned from the distinctness of their style and people do credit them when they found it.
