Do you realize that there is a textless variant of the CGset you can work on, without any speech bubbles and japanese onomatopoeia? Instead you are just placing text outside of the existing JP speech bubbles with a 100% white opaque background (blocking out parts of the image) and there is now both JP + en text on your cg.
