Wrong. Domestic violence and rape has been depicted and read, but never been presented as positive. It has always been rape and violence, and presented and read with the clear understanding that those are horrible things.

You seem to have misunderstood ART65's point. It's not that some galleries get the wrong tags, although it happens sometimes. To be honest, I don't understand what the accuracy of tags has to do with how violence or rape is perceived in manga. The point was about how such things are perceived by the local community. And the perception is mostly positive. You can try to prove me wrong, find some ntr manga with rape and violence and leave a comment with a mildly negative attitude towards that manga, and then show me how many upvotes your comment got. Most likely it will be minimal in contrast to the huge number of downvotes. That's at best, at worst your comment will be deleted. In my opinion, this is a very good evidence that for a large stratum of people here violence and rape is perceived as something positive and good. Also, my point is supported by the fact that if there is not enough rape content in a manga, the tag is simply removed. This is done so that those who are looking for rape can fully enjoy the amount of violence in the manga. That's why people find galleries that have rape but can't tag it because it's vetoed.
