The title is several words combined. Kamidanomi (神だのみ) refers to something that is asked for through prayer to a god. Yomezukuri (嫁づくり) literally means "make a bride". So one way to translate the title is "Making the bride you prayed for".
The moral of this story is basically "make sure you carefully word your wishes".
@guyman1337: I blame it on the fact the author had trouble coming up with an ending. I noticed a shift in the writing of the original near the last third of the book that suggests he sort of just came up with the ending and didn't fully revise the rest of the dialogue. I'm guessing that's why he ended up having to say he focused on the sex in the afterword.
...also how did this website edit the title? It got changed from "Kami-danomi yome-zukuri" to "DKamidanomi Yomezukuri".
