@Salamass Because it's an insult to the countless artists who've spent years upon decades honing their skills and perfecting their styles, and it could theoretically render human artists obsolete since all people have to do now is punch some commands into an AI to get whatever they want to masturbate to. Imagine what this website would be like if every gallery were an image set of AI generated images.

I personally don't hate. I actually find it rather sad and pathetic to look at, mainly because, as nice as it may look, it's some of the most barebones drawn porn I've ever seen in my life. They've all got the same bodies and faces, and nothing's even happening in the majority of the images beyond them just standing around in bikinis. And I feel sad for those who're actually turned on by this basic, cookie cutter crap.

@Formarotica I understand you but AI art is here to stay. Also I see that most of the artists who live 24 hours on Twitter are bothered by not getting all the attention, that's why they blame the AI, they are no longer special, the masses have access to create their own art, even create art from little-known characters because artists always draw the same thing and the fashions of the moment.
It's just a matter of ego, people will continue to support their favorite artists, but AI art will continue to get better and better.

@menato98 I definitely agree with your stance regarding the artists on Twitter. Their habit of drawing the same thing over and over again and constantly following trends is one of the reasons I just left that place. Twitter isn't really good for anything but following the artists I liked, but after realizing the majority of them kind of draw themselves into corners where they make the same stuff endlessly, I got bored with the lot of them. That's why I'm on this very website now--along with Pixiv--because there's a lot more variety and creativity here.

But at the same time, it's a shame to see how AI art became a thing. I just don't see why there are over 2,000 galleries on this very website related to AI art. That doesn't make any sense to me, and before you know it, it's going to be 20,000, then 200,000. Can you imagine that? A third of the galleries on this website full of nothing but art like this: Generically sexy crap random people had a machine generate.
