TL Note: The artist says "this work is interesting" on page 18 which is confusing since it really looks like he's speaking about his next work in the context of the upcoming 20th anniversary of the Precure series ("the next work will be interesting" makes more sense). I decided to omit that part of the sentence entirely as to avoid any confusion.

Maybe the artist is talking about "this work" as Hirogaru Sky being part of the 20th anniversary and doing new challenging things (boy precure). Think of the sentence as part of the paragraph of the first sentence.

Yes, that makes a lot of sense. I thought the word "work" was referring to a doujin here, not to a Precure series. I also forgot that Hirogaru has a male precure.
