I know what you mean. In the series we get a timeskip and there's a mini Bulma with no explanation. Even a pre-teen can connect the dots and assume Vegeta is the father but honestly no attempt is ever made to say the two are related until we hit GT. Like I mean in canon sure it's Vegeta's daughter but there's a lot of fun for potential stories like this one.
