And thus critics reduce their comments to short 1 sentence statements: "I don't get it," "I don't like it," "This is bad."

I mean anyone who takes the time to analyze porn in any sort of depth is already opening themselves up to accusations of cringe. Now compound that with opening up any sort of insecurities you personally might have? They'd rather just go nuts one day and erupt in random acts of violence than open up and get made fun of.

I feel like this artist's male character design is truly, TRULY filtering people, and not in a positive way.
Checking reviews and comments on different websites, it seems the consensus is that of "The story is hot, but the guys are too grotesque to fap", and while the Ch1 and 2 sold well, the rest haven't been doing so hot. (Ch 3 sold like 40%-50% less, and let's not talk about this Ch 0)

So, the artist has 2 choices, either stick to his guns and keep this kind character design, building up a fanbase of people who are into it, or try designing more "normal looking" antagonists.
