Finally: There are now three well-trained doujinshi artists for Genshin: BLADE, Cle Masahiro, and Ootsuka Kotora. Everything else: fucking LMAO.

This is one of the biggest bombs of a Gacha franchise I ever saw. Blue Archive really killed any chance of Genshin bursting into Japanese doujinshi circles. I'm not really surprised because right now most of Genshin's fan art is nothing more than fucking AI shit. That and Blue Archive is just a much better Gacha game than Genshin ever was by and large, with hotter character designs and better waifus. Even the BGM is superior. Any person with a brain had stop drawing Genshin and proceed to Blue Archive with C102 around the corner.

But what's stopping the same thing from happening to Blue Archive? Genshin may not have awesome fan art as Blue Archive, but the fan made hentai animations are definitely top tier.

I don't think Genshin ever had a chance in the Japanese Doujinshi scene. Even before Blue Archive there were barely any decent doujins. Even Azur Lane seems to be doing better.

I disagree with the BGM being superior, I personally prefer Genshin Impact BGM. The traditional music is addicting.

Honestly, most L2D Genshin animations are not very good. They look terrible to me.

I had heard better traditional video game music like Shenmue 1 & 2, Shin Sangokumusou 3 & 4, and even Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days. It's not all that amazing.

Blue Archive just clears Genshin overall in everything, especially the audio department, the art direction, and and the presentation of the characters.

^ I definitely agree Blue Archive is the overall "better" gacha.

You know, during the last couple years Genshin has become the face of Gacha's. Being in the spotlight means more money, but less risk taking because of the "normie crowd", and more censorship.

When it comes to fan material, I wonder if that has worked against it in some way.

I say this, because I saw a comment saying the Genshin female characters personalities are too "sterilized" for the male audience. Which may explain the lack of doujins.

^I don't think Forties is saying Genshin is unpopular. Among Gacha game's Genshin Impact is still one of the top gacha's.
