Reality is a person not having the courage to confess to someone they like under normal circumstances; this BSS plot is anything but reality, Koshiba was literally dared (not once, but several times) to by the other guy, Kaizaki, that he would make the childhood friend, Minase, his girl, submit herself to him like a pet; that's where the hentai logic kicks in, wherein Koshiba would rather wallow in self-pity and literally watch his crush get corrupted, and be aroused by it, than be honest with himself, forsaking the only chance he had to prevent Minase from being taken away without any resistance, after several sexual encounters Minase then confesses she loves Kaizaki at the end, without ever knowing Koshiba’s feelings. Make no mistake this is BSS at its finest, reality is out of the window, Koshiba was practically an accomplice to setting Minase towards Kaizaki, that's why BSS is often more bizarre than NTR.

Hentai logic? No, even in real life, there are many men who can't do it because they lack the courage to confess their feelings, so MC is a realistic logic. In the case of a girl, it is a typical harem anime logic that is insensitive to other people's romantic feelings.

Edit: At least a realistic logic was applied as to why he was so powerless. MC witnessed his childhood friend's gradual acceptance of another man, and it was enough to take away his hopes and confidence. He realized that he no longer had the chance to win, and he gave up everything.

What a pathetic man. He had every chance to move on and give it a shot with a girl who actually liked him, yet he'd rather wallow in self-pity. I dunno why, I usually like NTR (specifically netori, but with some mental gymnastics, I can hop into the viewpoint of the guy doing the stealing even in most netorare works), but for some reason I've never been able to get into Miyahara Ayumu's NTR works. I enjoy the superb art, of course, but otherwise, meh. There's just something about how he constructs his stories that kills the part I usually enjoy about NTR.
