旧人类为了治病救人的目的对人本身进行了改造，后来因为未知原因失控人类变成fiend致使旧文明灭亡，避难所残余的经过改造的人类在miko的手段未知的庇护下得以维持人形，但是男主对miko的侵犯导致平衡被打破，避难所的人类转变成fiend。至于医学报告里应该就是旧人类如何实施肉体改造以及后续导致的事故和处理的记录。大概是这样吧。

基因改造是从Miko最后那段独白推出来的的吗？我看了半天感觉像是谜语人，只看出是科技失控了，残存的人像笼中鸟一样在据点里苟活，而且看选Miko那段像是这个职位不怎么好，所以优先选外人，感觉是类似祭品一样……

The story is set in a post-apocalyptic future where civilization has been destroyed by war. All the human beings have been infected by a virus that has been used as a biochemical weapon for a long time.

The virus mutates into fiends when they're under too much stress.

Those who are chosen to be Miko are forced to enter a state of half mutation. The Miko physical appearance changed, such as having white hair with red outline, red eyes, and white nails.

The Miko produces pheromones. The pheromones they emit can inhibit mutation to a certain extent. However, there are a few conditions, such as not having more than one Miko in a certain area, or the pheromones will interfere with each other.

The Miko is forced to stay away from alcohol, drugs, and sex, because any fluctuation in dopamine levels will affect the Miko’s functionality.

With that said, there is uncertainty in the English version, it says “Technology that once saved lives – Spiralled out of control- “ which implies it has something to do with health and medical technology.
Either the context is different, or it merely hints to their past biological engineering capabilities that once saved lives or the English version is misinterpreted, we will never know.

故事設定在文明時代因戰爭毀滅的未來
這邊出現的人類全都是早就被作為生化武器的病毒感染，
只要壓力過大就會被病毒突變"鬼"

被選為御子的個體則會被強制進入半變種狀態(白髮)
其散發出的的費洛蒙能在一定範圍內抑制突變
但有幾個條件，例如一定範圍內不能存在多個御子，不然費洛蒙會互相干擾
以及御子被強迫遠離酒精、藥物使用以及性愛，因為任何的多巴胺濃度起伏都會影響御子的功能性

故事中有很多隱喻的部分，例如村民一直提到的御子的"神聖性"，其實是指御子的生理狀況

然後MEGUMI(喜歡男主的女生)，是第一個變成鬼的，回去看MEGUMI的鏡頭會發現有蠻多暗示
第一個登場的鬼就是MEGUMI，他也是被男主殺掉的鬼
而且MEGUMI壓力爆表的原因還是因為被男主拒絕，然後又被男主幹掉
作者才是鬼吧

男主上了御子就注定大家都死光光

然後為啥要禁止人出去? 因為出去沒御子抑制就會變成鬼啊幹
