「陰キャ（いんキャ）」は、いわゆる「陰気なキャラクター（陰気な性格の人）」の略。言動や雰囲気が陰気・陰湿・暗い・後ろ向きな人。周りの人の気持ちを暗くさせるような人、コミュニケーション能力のない人、社会性の乏しい人という意味を込めて使われる場合もある。罵り文句として用いられることもあれば、自虐の意味で用いられることもある。

「陰キャ」の対義語は「陽キャ」。「陽気なキャラの人」の略。
