The ending pretty much set up for shonen battle arc where the MC fought off against the rapist mob and liberate the girls, though it would be quite hilarious if the sequel of this end up being the dude trying to pick a fight against the rapist bunch from earlier books and end up getting beaten then led to the usual "Your love one getting ganged in front of your powerless self" instead lmao.
