@ridkor I can't speak for Drew, but AP Calc is usually offered in pretty much every U.S. high school. The majority of students don't take it, though. They typically stop at Trig/Pre-Calc during their senior year as 4 years of Math is usually required to graduate (Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Trigonometry). In my high school, you had to take Trig in the summer to be eligible to take AP Calc in your final year.

I should probably note that this was the case about a decade ago when I was in HS; these days, they don't have Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Trigonometry. They have these Integrated Math courses that combine different topics from the original four classes we had to take. It's part of that Common Core bullshit they're making the kids do these days.

I would say it also varies by state. In my state the usual sequence is Algebra 1 8th grade, High School: Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, and then Calculus Senior Year. Most people took a non-AP version of calculus however.
