The game starts with the protagonist, Amane Yoshiiri (name can be changed), getting ready for his first day at the new Academy he has just transferred in; Amane wants to continue his high school career nice and sweet, without problems so he readies himself to be proper and prim, to look like a respectable student.

Amane goes to Saint Tolea Academy, a prestigious institution built as a massive facility, where the students are very much expected to be above average in class and academics, St. Tolea used to be an all-girls academy not too long ago, only recently it became a co-ed institution. Amane enrolled in as one of the very few males that began to be welcomed there, the ratio is believed to be 10% males to 90% females still – but this is an Eroge so Amane might as well be the only guy around.

The young man introduces himself in class with the average speech, well-mannered in expecting himself be of use to his schoolmates and academy in building great experiences for each other; Amane believes he made a good impression, but in his thoughts he is quite nervous, he knew the vast majority of students were female but to see it firsthand is quite a lot to take, he feels like a stranded man in a amazons island, and the girls aren’t making it easy for him, as they all curiously take glances at him, like he is a specimen to analyzed. In the end, Amane chooses to keep a low profile, going by with his first days at St. Tolea quietly, hoping the girls’ curiosity die down eventually if they realize he is not much of a standout guy.

Perusing his usual day at school, still taken aback by how he seems to be the only guy around St. Tolea, Amane decides to look around to see if there’s any club he can join, the academy used to be an all-girls place so Amane notices there aren’t clubs more aligned with male hobbies and sports, like there’s a softball club but there’s no baseball club yet. Amane then sees a board with recruitment fliers for a Board Games Club and a Puzzle Games Club; there in narration we learn Amane is well versed and loves such games, his dad imparted Amane with liking Board Games and his mom with liking puzzles; his father’s work forced Amane to transfer schools a few times before, so these games with his parents comforted him with the unfortunate fact Amane could hardly make long term friendships.

That’s the crux of the game, making Amane choose between enrolling with Board Games Club and the Puzzle Games Club, it’s like choosing to play two small Eroge in one, the Board Games leads Amane towards the heroines drawn by Amane Ruri, and their story, while the Puzzle Games Club leads him towards the heroines drawn by Aoi Nagina, and their story. The cast is strictly divided between the two, so it really is like two stories with similar premises.

Amane is seen by a blonde girl taking a glance at the Board Games Club flier, she is Honeybell Yukusasa, an upbeat American-Japanese 2nd year student who is immediately friendly with Amane, taking a chance to enroll him with the Board Games Club, in the same instant, Amane and Honeybell are approached by Tsukyo Yonomori, a tall black-haired demure woman, a 3rd year who sheeply tries to initiate a conversation with Amane, she seems to know Amane from somewhere, calling him “BG&P”.

Now we get to know Amane is an accomplished player of a video game called “Monster Quartet”, under the username “BG&P” (board games & puzzles), Tsukyo is a player as well and very much of his, she recognized Amane due him once winning a tourney where his identity was divulged. With that Tsukyo musters the courage to invite Amane to her PC Games and Development club, however, Amane bluntly excuses himself by refusing Tsukyo’s offer, he says he doesn’t actually like video games, and is inept with tech overall, not even knowing how to operate a PC, as such the only reason plays Monster Quartet on a console is because the game Is just the virtual version of a hobby he has always liked beforehand, with the physical version of similar titles, Amane very much tells Tsukyo he never touches his system to play anything else.

Tsukyo is visibly saddened and Amane really tries to excuse himself for disappointing her, Tsukyo tries to explain her club has a initiative to teach little children how to operate a PC, in the simplest of terms so even someone like Amane could apply, but Amane is a honest and decided dude, he doesn’t want to tinker with PCs, he wants to play board games, so Tsukyo stops pressing him. Honeybell was just quietly looking from the side, once Tsukyo leaves she takes him to her Board Games Club - in her thoughts she hints towards knowing Amane being “BG&P”, so she had to make sure Amane applied to her club.

Entering the Board Games Club we see a cool energetic and slightly prankish girl, the club’s president, Riri Shimeiji, in a heated argument with Yui Tokuchika, the school’s student committee president. Yui is angrily telling Riri to stop with the ridiculous forms she filed for buying all sorts of board games for the club, claiming that sparing a budget for these expensive sets is ridiculous, that the idea of a Board Games Club itself is ridiculous, Yui is very uptight about studying so she thinks a club activity like that is like officially promoting slackers around school.

The crux of this side of the game is for Amane to enroll in the Board Games Club, have fun and convince Yui to see that said club isn’t a waste of school resources, making friends with the Riri and Honeybell, have Tsukyo hang around not feel her beloved BG&P didn’t reject her as a friend even if he has no interest in PCs and Video Games in general. That of course quickly develops in a harem romance, and the setting has no solo heroines, they quickly agree to share Amane.

Amane takes stairs towards the room the Puzzle Games Club reside, he enters and witness quite the lonesome state the club seems to be, only a very shy girl is around, she is Haruhime Tougasaki, a third 3rd year girl with glasses and short hair who seem to be extremely shy, Haruhime is having a hard time to just basically greet Amane, so he takes the initiative in conversing with Haruhime as she slowly introduces him with puzzles her club partakes in, starting with a simple DIY game with numbers based on the Pythagorean theorem, Haruhime seems to open up a little and act less shyly when she explains her puzzles.

Amane and Haruhime take quite a while immersed in the puzzles and their explanation, as such Amane is keen in applying for the Puzzle Games Club, but he takes notice that after so much time there no one besides Haruhime passed by, the meek girl tells him she is actually the president and the only member, Haruhime gets a little sad in telling Amane that her club is actually is a terrible spot, they don’t even have a supervising teacher. Haruhime seems like she resigned herself to just accept her club’s closure whenever the school board comes knocking, but Amane saw how happy she started to get when he dropped by and looked so eager to be part of the Puzzle Games Club, so he takes upon himself to find new members to sign in and save the club.

The following day Amane is deep in thought, trying to find a way to save the club, convincing other students to joy is the obvious way to go but he has just transferred, he hasn’t made many friends yet; walking by Amane is approached by Restsuka Nahatsuki on the corridor, he so is deep in thoughts that she is ignored at first, Restuka is a rowdy gyaru who bluntly asked Amane to tutor her in certain subjects, Amane has been around for a while for other students to notice he seems to be well rounded academically and Retsuka has no filter so she wants to raise her grades after she was told by the teacher she is in risk of falling back; Retsuka was ignored for so long that she lost her patience and just slapped Amane’s back, that’s when he stops daydreaming and finally notices her, the girl wastes no time and tells him to teach him, Amane is a little annoyed by her assertiveness but can’t help feeling aroused by her daring she styles herself, and that’s where it clicks Retsuka can be the first step to help the Puzzle Games Club to survive, so he agrees to tutor under the condition that she applies for the club.

Later Amane takes notice of his teacher, Mitone Itsusuji, beautiful woman with huge breasts and purple long hair, Amane had be eyeing her around before due how pretty, friendly and approachable Mitone is but now that he wants to save the Puzzle Games Club and heard from Haruhime they don’t even have a supervisor Amane talks to Mitone in order to ask if she would be willing to supervise the dying club; Mitone is the very same teacher that reprehended Retsuka before, warning her of the falling grades, Mitone was predictably too nice and upon hearing Amane was willingly helping Haruhime with her club and that he agreed to tutor Retsuka she agrees to supervise the Puzzle Games Club. The last piece of the cast is Tomoe Tajika, a tall black haired, with a ponytail who is quickly befriended by Amane, Tomoe is a sports lady who is a little meek, but not as shy as Haruhime, she also joins in.

With the Puzzle Games Club in a healthy state all the girls gravitate around Amane, his popularity as a transfer student really took a hold into him being really appreciated, all the girls talk online about how he acts and looks like a prince, a hot topic for the local V-Tuber to gossip about. Soon the girls fall in love with Amane, and since this a harem setting, they don’t compete, they want to share him together.

The game has no diverging routes beyond choosing between the Board Games Club or the Puzzle Games Club, after choosing one of them the following choices are pretty much nominal, Amane chooses one of the girls to get funky with first, then another girl, two of them will lead to a threesome scene that does not close the choice to do the same with another duo, it is four girls in a club, Amane has fun with one, then two, then four at the same time when they are all set to be his harem.

Beyond all that there’s a surprise After Story for LoveDori Halation, complete separate setting from Shangri-La, a more fulfilling closure for the big sister Houka Ichinose set after she graduates, back then the game really felt like only the teacher, Miharu Shounai, had a more fulfilling ending with marriage and pregnancy.
