@Poe mk.II: I know that you're probably not here for a history lesson, but that Kraut video is pretty bad, at least as far as the Hungarian part of the "parallel" is concerned.

Simply put, he completely misunderstood why the Black Army had to be disbanded. They were a mercenary force entirely paid by extremely high war-taxes, which were only supposed to be used for emergencies, yet King Mátyás kept calling them in year after year. The Black Army also practically never fought the Ottomans, but instead spent most of the time warring with the west (Mátyás was trying to get an Elector seat in the Holy Roman Empire by force, which caused them to hit him back whenever his forces were elsewhere), the majority of the armies fighting the Ottomans were local lords and their levies, the country was occupied 36 years after the Black Army was disbanded, so there was little correlation, and as for those claimed "tax-cuts", the nobles were tax-exempt to begin with, so that -80% cut only affected the serfs, who were practically unable to pay them anyway, because the country was on the verge of general bankruptcy.

All in all, Kraut was trying to reach so hard for his "historical parallel", he more-or-less missed all the "Why?"s and "How?"s of the Hungarian side and focused only on the few data points that served his comparison with the English side. In other words, it's a poorly researched video, I would not recommend it.
