i remember coming across an AI disclaimer stating the all "people" that are generated by this program are completely made up and any visual similarities are pure coincidence. So there was already an attempt to protect the programmers and users of any legal trouble they may have when they make characters that almost look like someone.

Then you have users who not only generate images that look like certain celebrities but also have the gall to post them with the name of those certain celebrities.

this is one thing i hate about AI because i think of this as a form of invasion of privacy and possible defamation. Peoples lives can and have been tarnished by rumors and now there are progams that can generate images to enforce whatever ridiculous claim they make which is dangerous in this day and age of "pics or it didnt happen" kind of mentality where others will not even bother to research if its true or not
