Do you recognize models? As I understand, it is just drawn in same style like Poser can make lame auto 2D from 3D - these black outlines. But, it is still drawn. Look for example on picture 009, compare hair with other pictures, body, breast, etc. That would be a lot more work to remodel for every picture if you can just draw. 038 wheel is modeled?.. Compare level of drawing detail of men and women...

pps. Thanks for explanation! Sewer looks really the same, yes. Well, I set on some combination of modeling and drawing. Maybe he is drawing with 3D model as reference, or even tracing. Anyway extremely cool result! (But, still, it's looks like drawing so 3D tag would not be appropriate.)
