Y'know, this story is kind of weak even by hentai standards. The motivation to de-level those two is... because they're good at their jobs? Seriously? Sure, they're annoying... but why even put up wanted posters for monsters if you don't need them killed? And if you DO need them killed, why would you complain that someone is solving your issues?

Makes zero sense tbh. Also makes zero sense why those two were left alive at all. If word of what was done to them got out... and there's no reason why it shouldn't or wouldn't, then the guy who arranged all this would be fucked beyond reason. It'd be only a matter of time until some other powerful adventurer decided that they're not ok with someone willing to do something like that.
