You know whats the worst part about this manga? There isn't a sense of progress. Everythings still feels the same, barely anything changed despite 17 issues. Things may happen, new characters may be introduced, but they don't affect the characters, its all superficial, there is no depth.
Sure we get some traces of characterization for the Male Lead with his mommy issues due to abandonment by a woman who looks like the Female Lead, but its just barely there.

The Female Lead, btw, has no characterization, which is pretty weird for a long running NTR series like this one. Hell, she's barely even a character. She exists to get fucked by the Male Lead, but we don't get her thoughts on the situation, how does she feel about him, what does she think about him living with her in her and her husband's home, what are her thoughts about her husband and so on and so forth.

When they change scenario its just to fuck in a different backgound, there isn't any thought in it. Whether they fuck in a hotspring, hotel, her home or the workplace, its all the same.
You may argue that this is what we are here for, as its an hentai comic, but long-running ones like this one generally have a plot, and this one tries to do that, but is failling miserably due to its slowness to have any progress.

Its supposed to be Cheating/NTR, but you could remove that aspect from the comic and it wouldn't change anything. With how wooden and lifeless the wife (Female Lead) is, you would think she was a sex doll.

I thought it had a good start with a very erotic drawing 🤤, as you mentioned the plot seems somewhat stagnant. Maybe it is because of the author's load of projects that the characters do not advance 🤔.

I hope the story improves in the next issue and she didn't leave it on hiatus like his previous work . I wanna beliveeee !!

You are complaining about the very thing plaguing the NTR genre (OR maybe Hentai in general) for decades and that's the lack of talent to write a coherent story ! Talent in drawing , rarely ever translates to ability to write a decent story. It takes serious effort to write good characters that make sense and are relatable ! So yes, This work is just another example out of millions of works out there . Either enjoy it as it is or move on to another work before you sacrifice all your braincells !

To be fair I think this is a long running due to the frequent and looooong breaks. I think we had six months between chapters at one point. If the author's sick I understand, but I think they were putting out other works during the breaks. Other then that, @Forotron is right on. It''s just spinning it's wheels, with actions that make no sense(I know sex comic, but still) As I bitched about on an earlier chapter, Husband comes back from their transfer unexpectedly, sees his wife almost get raped and doesn't apparently go home with her since he goes back peachy keen, not having seen the MC's shit all over their apartment. I find the sex well drawn, but otherwise, there's nothing there, the one chapter which is mostly taking with the wife, nothing. No real charatiziation, the wife emotions are so muted it's like she's a doll. Still keep coming back to due to the artwork(wife's design is banging) and some weird hope for progress(I don't like myself).

Its not like I'm asking for a masterpiece or anything like that, this is an hentai comic. But would it be too much to get some more characterization and/or plot?

Lets take an example: Fork in the Road by Mashiraga Aki.
There is a plot, things happen for a reason and events impact the characters inside the story. Sure there are the hentailand nonsense here and there but, for the most part, its a well thought story with advancement from start to end.
The glasses douchebag, the girl and the cuck all have distinct characterizations and personalities, which distinguishes them from each other and the other NPC's of the work.

There is none of that here. Cuck Husband is a non-character who pops in and out of the plot when needed for no reason, but has no impact on the story. Wife is a doll with no personality or emotions, who exists to be fucked and could be exchanged by any other female NPC with no effect. Male Lead has some sprinkles of characterization with his mommy issues but its all surface level. All other NPCs are interchangeable with one another.

The art is very good, the sex scenes are amazing, but its all grown stale.
