TLDR
Karen did took the pill.
However she's not sure she took it in time, is broken, cries and tells her husband about her past her ex used to blackmail her into sex and that she isn't worthy of being his wife so asks him to divorce her.
Husband feels awful about it as his mind was a mess but forgives her because he also feels guilty that she ended up meeting her manipulative ex BF, 6 months later she finally has become able to smile again as it took her effort to express her feelings again and stopped being being apologetic and sorry.

Both her and husband go to take pictures and she talks about how good the pictures he took are, also asks to come back again once their child is born.
Final thoughts are husband thinking about "making a choice back then (abortion)" a decision he doesn't feel any regret and how he feels his chests aching when he thinks that Karen's swelling belly carries the offspring of another male (no, he wasn't getting an erection or feeling pleasure and Karen's ex is long gone btw).

This series seems to be over now but I think how this ended being handled way better than Fork in the Road which has striking similarities with both of their endings.
If the author had better drawing and pacing it can easily top that work, it helps that unlike the other heroine (who was just a dumbass pushover) Karen had good blackmail material used against her.

this seems like a compromise to those who hate and love netorare. sure, she's full of remorse and regrets her actions but her cheating bore fruit and is having the baby. not the best ending, but more like trying to appease everyone instead of closure

@wilfriback nah its mindbreak ntr where she has her cake and eats it too. Tears and saying i regret is empty vs. Real regret would be refusing to raise the spawn if her infidelity. Yuck
