You get to see details and depth in all the grey shades/shadow in Sophie-san series printed original doujin. Calibrated 16-bit greyscale scan is the way to go to be exact as the print. (24bit color scan on non color page has a different greyscale coefficient, it is not similar to the printed grey and it also add noise to the scan, no good) 8 cover was hard to scan because reflective gold was used in the lettering. I took a pic with camera and copied the gold color over to the scanned letters.

Yeah...ok....nice job trying to hide the fact that you have no idea what your doing with that blurb of text. This was scanned incorrectly and it really shows. Also, you inflated the file size to WAY above what it needs to be...another trick to try to fool people into thinking this is a "quality scan". Try again.

Sorry I don't inflate file size. It was infact shrink from 600dpi TIFF to PNG. File size is not a issue to me.

Well, my scan style may be shitty to you, but I don't beautify and manipulate the scan page. How the page is printed and binded, I unbind it at its spine and scan the full page as it is. I don't manipulate curves. I choose not to cut into the page. Whatever the calibrated V850 gives its in there. Compare the scan and the print, it is.
