Crociere: it's pretty clear from the landlord's reaction mixed with kesh's mental state which is clearly effected psychological conditioning, that the landlady oni for whatever reason just really can't stand the smell of goblins. Maybe the landlady has a super sensitive nose, or maybe it's all the alcohol that onis drink that has changed her senses. Whatever it is she has convinced Kesh that goblins smell bad no matter they wash or not and that they make everything else dirty they touch, and the landlady is obviously extremely strict on her rules, abusive(for whatever reason), opportunistic, unkind, uncaring, has some form of superiority complex, she is obviously single so intuition would dictate she feels inferior to goblin girls so she treats them and anyone connected to them very harshly.

Second note, Goblins are notorious tricksters, and can actually be dangerous, especially to properties, so that stigma or stereotype may be playing a role in the landlady's rage.

right now, the writer will eventually need to establish some reason why the landlady can't or wont act against the guy once she smells him on Kesh.
Could be lack of intelligence where the landlady cannot connect events in her head "I smell goblin on man" + "I smell that man on goblin" = "huh strange I wonder how that smell got on goblin girl, that will bother me for weeks now, can't figure it out".
Could be due to the Affections/Attraction she now developed to the man so she will act ignorant and look the other way (most likely), just as long as she gets hers (so the man will have to follow up with a date with the landlady, probably buy her booze).
Could be due to something Kesh will do, for example, there could be a Third-wheel succubus living nearby who shadows through walls and eats the souls of newbie men. Kesh could sleep with him and catch the succubus attempting it and get into a fight to protect him, the noise of which attracts the landlady waking her up. it also wakes up the guy who can give an account "if kesh hadn't come in I'd be dead!", thus the landlady thinks "goblin girl saved my man" and agrees it'll be a good idea for her to be able to visit him. Meanwhile the succubus will have to get knocked out by the landlady entering the room and come back to apologise to the man the next day
