I spent about 30 minutes both interrogating members of my Discord server who are model/Gundam nerds as well as sniffing around Reddit to see what the term de jure is. As far as I understand it (I'm not a model nerd), it's much like referring to specific models as, say, "the Megumin figma" or "the Megumin Nendo(roid)." So I went with "A 'Chogokin Kaiten-FX.'"
