The Monster Hunter series has always confused me a little. There are these enormous, powerful, deadly beasts that meager humans are out hunting...and nobody ever gets hurt! In the game, if you fail a hunt, you "get carted" back to camp, insinuating you simply passed out. I like to think of it more realistically, where an encounter with these beasts would not end so well for careless hunters.

Gigantic teeth and claws? There's going to be nothing to cart back.
