Seems the author posted a new year post update on fantia saying that the "Hinako's Secret?" series will be content that corresponds closely to the main story. I guess it makes these sorta canon. Also mentioned that it is unlikely then that this route of the series will contain any sex scenes and he's keeping it to the Bad End series unless the main story progresses to actual sex i guess.

Personally, not really a fan of the wishy washy netorase, Hinako is a bit of a pushover unlike say Yumi like my previous comment on the untranslated release. Still a pretty hot series nonetheless and will be following into 2024!

Edit: forgot to add as well, author said the Hinako secret with Takeshi before will be changed to the bad end line likely because it contained sex

Its more close to canon than bad ends and what if but still not fully cannon. Or at least previous ones. Bad Ends are basically well... bad ends. And definitely non cannon, there are even those where she gets pregnant with somebody else and breaks up with him. "What if.." (I think that it was only one of it? This one with secret profile?) is well... just a what if. "Hinako's secret?" are these events when he lends her for a moment and is not sure what happened. Thats why we get question mark here.
Secrets are basically softer bad ends, "what if she lost to desires but still came back". The first two hinako's secrets are definitely non cannon -> her behaviour in main story clearly contradicts them. This secret is much more believable (in last two she basically resents herself afterwards because breaks promise to him, here not. there is no broken promise here and stuff, just teasing reader at the end.

However I would bet that it is still not fully cannon just like previous ones. In main story that guy wanted to tell Yuichi about that promise with Hinako, here he wants to keep it hidden from him. In main story it was Hinako who wanted to keep Yuichi in dark just for pure sake of teasing him and stimulate his netorase fetish.

And the author clearly likes teasing here, thats why he uses vague statements like "corresponds closely" and "secret?". Just to make us unsure.
Well, I still like Yumi much more. More consistent story, better drawings and less recycling of drawings.
