I sure hope he'll be better in 2024. He one of the few oldest artist who are regular to the Comiket we can actually follow thanks to his work (I know there are way more ancient people there, but we don't get their works). He started in 1998 (http://mitarashi-club.sakura.ne.jp/osigoto-sonota.htm) let's say he was 18~21 at the time, he's now 43~46.
We can only strive to be as dedicated to a waifu as he is. Bless him. He loves Gunpla too.

@Roadwarior2: he's probably under 50 I doubt he was under 18 when he started at the Comiket, but whatever he's close to 50 anyway! What I found incredible is how he went to all the Comiket before the Covid since he started. I can only imagine how it feels to see the same guy two times per year for 20 years haha.
Don't worry, I honestly think it's better to share than not. If people want to buy his work they will raw/translation available or not.

I also want to thank you for the translations, it's really great that this series is still translated! I hope I would say "thank you roadwarior2 for Akiko to Issho 50 " in 20 years ;-)

Incredible, 26 years by now, and if he actually started publishing in his mid or even late 20s he would be in his 50s (he also had shingles and neuralgia last year, two illnesses typically affecting people over 50). But anyway yeah, he really does seem like a real personable guy, having translated a few of his afterwords. It does make me feel somewhat guilty that I've participated in pirating so much of his art, but personally I've spent over $700 CAD on commissions from him, which translates to over 100x what the raws for this issue cost me, so I think that makes us fairly square for the 8 issues of this I've TL'd.
