Is there a reason why this character is depicted again and again with the same tattoos and piercings all over her body marking her as a sex slave to her Master? Is this something that canonically happens to her? Can somebody explain? I see some old pictures don't contain this particular kind of degeneration.

I'm not that familiar with the source material beyond the Anime but I think all the art was just commissioned by the same person who really likes that scenario. I don't know if it is somehow based on canon material though or if it's just based on a smut fanfic about her becoming a slave to that king. She and the MC don't even meet that guy in the entire Anime. And the king's personality doesn't really match to being depicted as a tyrannical slave master anyway iirc.

I totally agree with the previous post in the anime Ferris and the MC are literally in the other side of the continent from the king they have no interaction at all. I do now the novels follow with the war between the two kingdoms but I don’t know specifics.

As for the king while he may hold a grudge to the MC for killing one of his guys and getting the red haired girl instead of him, however I don’t see any relation with Ferris on that front. He was depicted as being a fair king, but he was conquering the surrounding and had his people assassinate people for their magical artifacts so he may have become more tyrannical on the novels.
