So on one hand, I'm glad that Naruho is still making new stuff. On the other, I feel like this doujin is a rehash of a previous doujin what with the attempt at currying favor with the nobleman/political figure. Now that isn't to say that Naruho doesn't rehash his previous doujin stories, but I'm curious if this doujin is supposed to be some pseudo sequel to the first one.

It was reprinted from this site to an illegal uploading site in Japan, and just by searching for the title of the work, Shizune's manga became available for free on the night of its release. It would be hard to believe that there wasn't some influence.

The Shizune doujin sold a lot more copies than all the Nami doujins besides Nami Saga 2.
The sales figures are public on the sites.
And I'm pretty sure every Saga chapter was like 50% off at some point, for months at a time.
While Yobai OK was never sold at a discount. It clearly had stronger sales despite the lack of discount.
And the doujin sold this well despite it being uploaded here.

You also made a shitload of doujins with Tsunade. The Shizune doujin sold more than most of the Tsunade doujins too.
That's not even getting into the Temari doujin. The Temari doujin outsold everything else you made according to sales figures.
How come you're not making a new doujin with Temari?

Temari's manga sold better than I expected. I would like to make a new Temari manga someday.
As for Shizune's manga, that manga is only sold digitally, so its sales format is different from other works. The actual book's have a sales portion, so in effect, Namisaga and others have higher sales numbers.
It's not that I don't like Sizune. Please don't misunderstand me.
It may be difficult to continue that manga, but there is a possibility that it will appear again in another work.
Of course I want to draw my favorite characters and my ideal is that their works sell.
