I have VERY little experience when it comes to Pretty Cure. I've heard about it alot, I've indulged in many of doujins revolving the Pretty Cures but I've never watched or read the source material. It's probably not my cup of tea to watch, only knowing that it's just a Magical Girl show. Don't know anything about their stories in general.

Note: I'm not into Loli/Shota but if you enjoy these fictional works, more power to you.
