but yea I sort of agree that he need to wait for the rest of the chapters to get remake before putting the tags prematurely. We never know what would happened. What if nt00 died next week and no more upload came?

The series technically only has 30 chapters with a definitive ending, the uploads kind of screwed it over by not keeping his chapter numbering the same and just releasing them as is. The last chapter is where Haru and Yumi have lots of raw sex and confirm their love for each other and then she asks if he’d like to have her sleep again with someone and he doesn’t answer and then it has a title drop. Everything after that is up in the air canon wise since technically it’s all bonus material of dubious canonicity. Of course we can expect it to be canon (except the IF route from Christmas) for the most part but technically NT00 can come out and say any or all of it is not. This includes 99% of Jin stuff, the development of Yura, and the most recent Christmas releases. Once again uploads on here and elsewhere put everything together and make no mention of the actual canon series ending so it makes sense you didn’t know that.

My thoughts on the remake are that I really appreciate the slight changes NT00 have made, while also showing his improved art to make all the old Yumi CG even hotter. Though I definitely feel less excitement since the overall plot points are largely unchanged and I know what's coming, I'll be looking forward to his christmas chapter (ch24 in the old version) and perhaps all the Yura stuff either remade as official canon or just continuing from the events of last Christmas.

He finished the first 30 chapters and this gallery is the remake/complete edition for the first 30 chapters with updated art. So far the story has stayed largely the same as the original. Now the story did continue after the first 30 chapters but nt00 decided to do the remake before continuing those chapters. Hopefully he still continues that Yumi series after the last Christmas chapter after this remake but that’s up to NT00.

Yeah personally the excitement levels for me as a reader are definitely way less than when we were getting chapters of Yumi and Jin, with the constant feeling of “wtf is going to happen next”. It’s the nature of the beast I suppose, since we’ve already seen the story once so unless something new is happening it’ll feel like this. Also NT00 is being very faithful to the original, which is fine as I think the story itself is good, just that we probably won’t see new story developments until he finishes this and goes back to continue the current Yumi story.

Hey guys so chapter 9 is out and chapter 10 will be out in another day. I am on a trip right now and sadly did not bring my tablet for editing. I will very likely release ch 9 and 10 in about 2 weeks once I’m home again. But yeah it seems like the chapters so far are really following closely with the original (mostly just updated art and slight dialogue changes) and Nt00 is picking up the pace to finish the Complete Edition so we might get new Yumi story stuff next year! Super excited for that, but yeah I apologize for taking a bit longer, as I normally can TL and release the same day or a day later, but I’m still dedicated to this series and can’t wait to see what Nt00 cooks up next!

Re reading the first half reminds me how trashy yumi let herself become. Even while she knows jun is scum shes still getting in the shower and fucking him. It goes without saying her self esteem is so shot that by the time she meets haru shes willing to do anything to get and to keep him, including degrade herself even further for his fetish that she herself induced in him.

@nikushoku that's the improper way to look at it because the second story quickly degrades because the author was supposed to move on to mina but yumi was such a huge cash cow with people screaming for ntr in his dms that he eventually caved. I understand a mans gotta eat but it's clear he wanted to leave the story or at least take a break. Fact that he did the reboot says he tried to do it half way cuz it became to big for him to feel comfortable just letting it go. All these chapters are doing is leading to a huge disappoint when he tries to continue it and at minimum half the fans will be upset at how it goes given they waited another 2 years or longer for it to continue. He should have let the story end at yumi nts teasing haru rather than going all the way and having it degrade both of them, and it's clear that his ideas for those later chapters were all meant for mina. Hes even starting to Inject her into the yumi story so its very clear hes been wanting to write about her the whole time since her relationship with that dude who likes her was a lot more up front with less bs. Mans gotta know when to let go and stop letting rabid fans control you cuz all you do is trap yourself.

It's a total porn fantasy that she always had her guard up and her heart was reserved for the quit guy who was nice to her before she became the hottest girl on campus. I've dated a few girls who had a similar "backstory" where she let herself cave to some douche in her past while pretending she didnt like it and all she ended up with was a freak obsession with being degraded. Like she literally couldn't maintain a relationship if you werent being toxic to her. Its misery for anyone mentally healthy cuz you just become an actor trying to cater to someones self induced brain damage, and you grow feeling resentful and isolated cuz you know she doesnt actually give a shit about you. Yumis supposed to be the fantasy that anything about her past she uses it as a positive in a real relationship with a guy who treats her good like being proactive about being his sexual fantasy but I've never seen it exist myself. Shes basically taking everything senpai wanted from her and giving it to haru, including using everything he taught her sexually to please haru instead, or even going as far as doing it with random dudes for him to watch since he has that fetish, induced by her ofc so it's sort of a fitting penance for her that she doesnt like it but does it for him anyway with a porn smile for the camera. Her framework for a relationship taught to her by senpai was even if it feels degrading, do it for me anyway so I can feel good, and that's exactly what she ends up doing with haru except without his asking for it. I wonder if it's also her way of getting back at senpai to make him feel like a clown that all his effort all he did was train her to serve someone else, someone he obviously doesnt like or respect. Its even more pathetic how much of a simp he becomes when he starts to realize even though shes a slut he gets to fuck she isnt really that into him.

So I wanna preface this by saying I largely agree with your points that this remake has been lackluster in that pretty much 90% of it has remained the same as the original. Also thanks for shouting out my Jin's Director's Cut haha that was a fun little project I did like a year ago. Anyway, the remake really could have improved many aspects of the story, like more character development or worldbuilding, You would think there would be more new story content in a remake, but I think at this point even NT00 wants to get this over with, as just 2-3 months back he announced he wanted to end remake this year. I think it's a combo of him still needing time to make updated art but also any new story scenario/sex scene would require even more new art and with lack of fan excitement, he's pretty much just rushing to end it this year.

Okay on to the character development. I will defend NT00 a bit here as compared to other doujins limited by 20 pages but also just plain bad/formulaic writing for NTR in general, Yumi and Haru do make sense and have good explanations to support their actions (though this is also to be expected in a series going on 1000 pages). Though I will say maybe 50% of this is often actually under the surface and requires some inference/digging deeper to understand Yumi and Haru, and is also why I think NT00 is actually a pretty good writer because he understands his characters (obviously he's not at the tier of actual writers but he's a hentai artist so give him a break)

Let's start with Yumi - most people think of her as a dumb slut at times because she just fucks random dudes just to get advice on how to ask a guy out. My argument is that many readers often forget that Yumi herself is a character that has low self-esteem and for all the sexual experience she's gotten from senpai, still is lacking in navigating social relationships and underestimating her own worth. Look back to the drinking party and we see she's alone in a corner, pretty much has no friends. In many ways, she often mirrors Haru in that she's not that confident in herself and from Senpai's influence, actually has warped views on sex, probably thinking of it as more transactional/not that important since she has it all the time.

Even in this chapter, her thoughts were "relieved to see that Haru had gotten excited from her body" not even fully aware of her own beauty because just a short time before, she was a nerdy, unconfident girl before Senpai made her into his image of a hot girl. She also really does believe in the whole "the one" for her/ soulmate idea, and once she finds out Haru is that guy that saved her, she pretty much puts him on a pedestal while she herself still doesn't feel her own worth, explaining why she's willing to do this sex acts with Jin and Senpai because in her mind, sex is just transactional and not that big a deal compared to the thought of making Haru hers and experiencing true love, so she does things that seem wildly absurd to us, makeing us think she's a slut that likes sex, but in her mind, it's a small/noncomittal act that will bring her closer to her soulmate. Also her naivety with transactions/social relationships + her not thinking of herself as high worth allows Jin and Senpai to constantly take advantage of her.

One other point about Yumi that is very subtle is that her first sexual experience was basically being raped by Senpai and then always in a sexual role where she's not in control. Contrast that to this chapter, when she thinks "something broke loose inside her" when she's sending pics to Haru, basically she feels that she's in control now in that it's her choice doing these things, as well as later providing material for Haru by having sex with Jin, makes her feel more in control of the sex she has, perhaps satisfying a cognitive dissonance she's had from not being in control of it before.

The previous point also mirrors the reason why Haru himself gets into the cuckold fetish. Quite literally it's written in the text but that mental shock from being cuckolded by Senpai really did have such a big impact on him that he gets turned on by it instead. This also makes sense psychologically/as well as in real life because he develops that fetish as a way to TAKE CONTROL BACK from having this girl that he actually connected with stolen by Senpai. Instead of feeling such anger/pain, it turns into pleasure, by thinking he himself is the one facilitating the cuckolding.

Also, I agree with the point that it doesn't help Haru acts like a massive cuck for the entire series. He really does have low self-worth cause even from the start, he doesn't think a girl as beautiful as Yumi would give him the time of day, and the cuckolding by Senpai probably also fed into his own idea that he's not as attractive or as worthy as other guys like Senpai since he's not pulling all these girls and taking all these pics after having sex with girls. Though I will give him credit that he at least got the guts to ask Yumi out, and also with the previous Christmas chapter, realizing that his relationship with Yumi is more important than only focusing on his pleasure.

Alright, sorry for my spiel, I just really like the series. It's obviously imperfect and the remake really could have been MUCH better if there was more character development/worldbuilding but at this point, I think a majority of the readers as well as NT00 himself wants this to be over and hopefully we get more development with actual new story next year.

I've seen the comments from other galleries, and looking at the comments here, I'm not really seeing what everyone else is seeing. All NT00 did was take all the scenes that took place during Christmas in the old version and put it together to make the timeline more coherent. Nothing really changed from the original besides the fact that we can see how Jin convinced Yumi to forget about the "5 thrusts" deal, and the correct sequences of events. I think the main difference I see is that we can see Jin use 2 condoms instead of one like the original, but I think that change was added to make things make more sense since they clearly had sex more than once during Christmas in the original as well. I think since NT00 lumped all the Christmas scenes together and made it one single chapter, people think that there's suddenly more of a focus on Jin when that's clearly not the case.

Also, I don't see how Yumi is acting any differently from before either, and as far as I'm concerned it still looks to me that she is very much being manipulated by Jin, always using Haru as an excuse to push things further. Yumi makes it clear here that she thinks Jin probably knows what he's talking about since Haru has been responding more quickly than usual.

I feel like people are still hung up over the developments that happened near the end of the original version and projecting those feelings onto these new chapters.

I'm not seeing the supposed "tsundere romantic undertones". What exactly is that shows Yumi acting any more tsundere than she did in the OG? Where are the romantic undertones that are present here and not in the OG? If anything, during the BJ scene, she seems more irritated towards Jin in this version than the OG. To compare, in the OG, when Jin asks if she'll have sex with him again, she says "Absolutely not <3", emphasis on the heart at the end of her dialogue, hinting that she's open to the possibility. In the remake, that's completely gone and changed to "don't get your hopes up, idiot".

As for their dynamic, you mention that there was more begging from Jin's side, yet in the OG Yumi is the one that actually initiates everything. She already had a good relationship with Jin, and used him as a way to get closer to Haru (so yes, you're correct on this point). From there, I dunno, it feels more like she's willing to do whatever Jin asks because of all the gaps. For one, in the OG she gives Jin a handjob straight off the bat, whereas here in the remake he has to beg for it. The Christmas outfit scene is largely the same, except in this remake we see the lead-up to it, which honestly doesn't really change anything about their relationship. Then we get a new scene in the remake showing Jin losing his virginity, filling in the gap between the previous scene and the bed creaking scene (I'd argue this is the reason why NTR fans are loving this because we're just seeing more of Jin and Yumi). Their dynamic in this scene... isn't really any different from any of their other interactions, in either the OG or the remake. Yumi sets clear boundaries, Jin pushes further by using Haru as a justification, and then Yumi obliges. We don't see this specific interaction happen in the OG because it just skips straight to Jin pounding her on the bed, but how exactly would they get to that point in the first place? The implication was always there, seeing what actually happens only confirms it. It's a bit harder to compare the doggystyle scenes since we don't hear dialogue between them in the OG, but it's interesting to note that she's smiling in the OG and not hiding the fact that she's enjoying it. Total opposite with the remake.

It's pretty clear the remake shows that Yumi finds Jin a pain in the ass from the start, whereas they're actual friends in the OG. Does she try to hide the fact that sex with Jin can feel good? Yes, but she does the exact same thing in the OG. I'm not exactly sure where you see the "sex friend" thing here in this remake, and your previous comment about Jin being better at sex than Senpai sounds like pure projection.

No wonder her self esteem is in the dirt. I'd honestly rather see more lovey scenes between her and haru. Honestly my favorites were the ones where she teased his fetish. Her sex with jin is always shitty but her teasing haru is always sexy. Sucks nt00 appeasing ntr fans for the bag but that's how it be.

And Jin is now a straight up faggot. It makes all the nts shit kind of bull. Like from here it would be better to end the story at the first part and have her at best stick to teasing haru, but it's pretty obvious he deserves better than her and she knows it.

Like what honor is there in taking back control by taking advantage of someone who loves you? Its sick and shes sick if there was even a hint of that angle for her.

I'll just add that in the remake, just like original, we've never had confirmation that Yumi is having sex with Jin because she likes Jin or because she likes having sex with him, but that it is all for Haru. Even if everyone thinks she's just a whore, until we get actual confirmation from a line from Yumi, she's only been doing this for Haru. In the remake, Yumi seems to be irritated/dislike Jin more because her lines of rejection are more concrete (no more hearts) and even if we say she "caves in/is being tsundere because she keeps accepting Jin's demands" I agree it's only giving "NTR vibes" but does NOT mean Yumi actually has changed her character into liking Jin. Also, Yumi feeling pleasure from sex is nothing new, it's been done in original and I think what's giving off the most NTR vibes is when Yumi is obviously in pleasure/orgasming/Jin's line about Yumi cumming from sex but again, DOES NOT make her a whore or actually liking Jin, agreeing to things for the sex. Now NTR vibes? Sure. But like the court of law, this is innocent until proven guilty and until Yumi herself actually says she's fucking Jin for the sex, instead of 100% for Haru, we can't make the leap/assumption.

One line from the original that perfectly encapsulates Yumi / her relationship with sex is from the original CH26 when she said "Sex with no love...without any kind of romantic feelings...[Is] just a mere physical act that leaves only a slight hint of pleasure." So yeah we've seen many times Yumi has orgasm / gotten pleasure from sex with Jin or Senpai but even so, it largely means nothing to her. And sex with Haru / the one she loves is much more fulfilling and in turn the later netorase play with Jin is largely for Haru.

Anyways, besides my take, I think everyone is getting a little heated in the comments. I'd argue it's cause of NT00's great writing and because even Netorase itself is such a fine, delicate line we've got people passionately arguing "This is def more NTR" vs. "Nah, Yumi def 100% loves Haru" and whatnot. That's honestly prob expected with a netorase work (much more complex than normal NTR) and we should all be looking forward to more Yumi, and we should have discourse but try to keep it civil, after all we all like this series even if we have different views.

Sorry for the wait everyone but the final update is up and now the Complete edition is completed. Been really busy with school and life but glad I managed to finally complete the translation for this. Just wanted to say it's been a journey and thanks to people that read my translations and supported NT00 for this masterpiece.

Anyway, so NT00 posted this for the plan going forward: [Mina senpai is focusing on the story, Yura is focusing on omnibuses that stimulate Haru's propensity]. I guess this means we will either get Yura content or Mina content. For February it was Mina content and for March It will be Yumi/Yura content. I think I'll post my own separate galleries for both. Hope 2024 has been going well for everyone.

I must say though that I don't see the point of this remake. If he was going to go through the effort of making this, then he should have just continued the original or made something new. I'm guessing Yumi is his most popular girl and he wanted to milk his supporters for a year?

So let me see if I follow, the true ending of the story is they get married and have a child and don't engage in cuckoldry any further. It's only the IF ending where they kept it going. Right?

Yeah, I wouldn't go so far as to say he was milking it but it was always his plan even before to remake the original 30 chapters with better art, better characterization of Yumi, and streamlining of the story. I will say that the only downside was that many of us thought that would mean more new content or new plot points but we didn't get much of that besides taking away the glasses senpai and less focus on Sena. Also slight shift in character for Yumi so that instead of being pretty indifferent to fucking other dudes in the original, she's more hesitant to do that and more focused purely on Haru. The better art is the main takeaway but not much new story content for the year. At least now going forwards we are getting new story for either Yumi or Mina which I think are both good.

That's correct. And I also think the new Yumi content will fill in the timeskip gap from last Christmas leading to the Epilogue.

I liked the author going back and cleaning up some plot points, some other NTS/NTR works suffer from constant NTR-baiting and events that never get brought up again that while hot because we like to see the fem-MC fucking, they can sour the experience and bloat the story in the long run("She is being targeted" series with it's 2000+ pages). Also Mina-senpai looking like that and having such a small role on a NTR story should be a crime hahaha.

Turned out surprisingly wholesome in the end, so wholesome in fact that the way Yumi's first relationship started feels kinda out of place in hindsight. Awesome work, amazing translation by @steveyolo80 too.
