Hi I'm actually the author of this work. Apologies for the huge size as these are the actual original pages I uploaded here. I also don't know how much I can lower the file sizes as these are already image compressed without losing it's quality.
As for the Doujinshi tag, I'm from southeast Asia. I haven't explicitly said it publicly on my Twitter because I really don't think it matters. E-hentai rules says the Doujinshi tag is for works with eastern origin but I do think this site should have an "eastern" tag for non-japanese artist. Let me know if you have any further questions. Loved this comic, will be buying soon. I do want to note that the images could be smaller without losing quality, try using something like pngout or optipng to compress png images further without losing any quality. I'm recompressing the gallery right now and seeing a 10-30% decrease in file size per page.

If you use JXL, you can more than HALF the size of the images at lossless compression. I'm going to make a torrent of it, but the compression will take all night because I'm using maximum effort which means every image takes over a full minute to compress.

I'm also making a lossy version which should be good enough for most people—I had to blow the image up to 200% zoom and put it on a 1080p monitor and lean in for the side by side comparison to find the differences, so unless you're going to zoom in on the 2500×3500 px images or view them on a 50 inch monitor or something, you won't be able to notice the difference :Ü™

Edit: I found an option that lets me compress it significantly further in lossless mode while decoding faster at the cost of being less than a third as fast in encoding. Please stand by for another 2 days :Ü™
