Just a strange thought...does anyone think the comic is subtlety being a jerkass to Peach? She loses Mario, gets mocked about it to her face, Her kidnappings and attempts to rule her kingdom are handwaved away as some harmless fun, and post transformation, Bowsette isn't even shown as being a LITTLE sorry for all the crap that's been pulled over the years (assuming all the games are canon in this comic).

Obviously this is just a comic and its nothing to get worked up over, but it just seems kinda cruel how EVERY character except her is living life just fine after Bowsette emerges.

Damn, Peach tagging along and Valentina's here? God I loved Mario RPG. I think Peach was called Princess Toadstool back then too... Anyways, if Peach starts using super slapping gloves or a frying pan, I'd be very happy.

Also, I don't know why I'm emotionally invested in this story. But I like the main cast quite a bit. When this got recommended to me as kind of an ecchi-ish but still good story and art, I hesitated but I'm glad my friend recommended it and that my initial suspicion was completely wrong.

I didn't think I'd ever be into Bowsette but those thighs and the lightning strike drawing, there's just something about a woman who can kick some ass. And I'm glad the artist/author went the route they did with Bowsette. At least to me, her bravado meeting actual doubt and vulnerability made me worried for her. Still am as it's all still so new. But it's refreshing to give a shit about a character for once and it's not another OP God-Tier character being OP.

I'm enjoying the story. Feminism or whatever ot not. There's a magical crown that turned Bowser I to a woman, similar in looks to Peach. Mario and Bowsette got hitched. Bowsette wants to stay with Mario but wants the effects of the crown permanent. Hijinks occur and it's a fight to save Mario, Bowsette's love for him, and to restore the status quo.

The overall story doesn't seem to be feminism to me. I think either I'm not reading the subtext (which I am happily ignorant of), or you are reading into something that doesn't exist. Either way, the story is nice in my opinion, and I may or may not have the unpopular opinion.

Well, Lakitette (name pending)’s reunion with his/her father went better than expected. Negotiations got past the violence stage, bu~t…let’s just hope that Bowsette and Mario (if he can get involved in time) can put an end to this.

Am I the only one who’s the slightest bit concerned about the ‘Crowned’ King Boo/Queen Teresa? When they first started their journey, his/her reasons for coming along were to rub Luigi’s failure to save his brother in his face. Now in more recent pages (s)he’s started showing similar, if not identical sentiment towards Luigi as Bowsette does Mario (“Mess with him and face my wrath”, in other words), and (after his rescue) even openly flirting with the green plumber, seemingly devoid of any memory of her original animosity towards him.

I think one of the things I appreciate most about the popularization of Bowsette is that it brought princess dresses back to media attention.

Disney has been making less dress-ed heroines (the last one was Elsa, a full decade ago!) and Nintendo has mostly moved on from it as well. (Last one was Rosalina, a decade and a half ago!) and even the normally dress wearing mainstays have moved away from it in recent years. Peach wears traveling clothes in Odyssey, biker suit in the movie... Zelda has ditched any dress for a tunic and trousers since botw.

It makes me sad.

- If you've been a dumbass and ignored the first rule, DO NOT try to go beyond 30% power. 20% is already too much. If you go beyond 30%, then you'll lose control of your gadget (now considered a doomsday device) and it will explode. Along with you.
