Been noticing an uptick in ai translations. At this rate, we won't get any proper translations anymore and will have to outright commission people to make proper ones over this garbage. People don't seem to understand that uploading ai translations demotivates interest in proper translations. Be patient or begone!

This is one of the worst translations on the site. Unreadable garbage. The advent of AI has made the lowest quality of translations even worse. They don't even check them anymore. At least bad translations from bad translators you at least have some idea of what's being said but almost all of this is gibberish.

AI is nice novelty for personal use if you are broke or dont want to commision translation but want to have a rough idea what the plot is, but for the love of god stop posting this shit nobody asked for.

I might try to do a translation, but it'll really depend on the time I have since it's a lengthier doujin. Bit bummed at all this low effort junk since people need to make up for it, and it just clogs the site.

The use of AI isn't even the worst part. I've made (but never published) some ai translations for personal use myself, and through the use of cross referencing between different translation engines and considering context was able to get the text to be fully coherent and mostly line up with what the proper translations said, which were published later.
Getting a vaguely good result using AI is possible, but it needs to be curated and double checked, yet the people posting these don't even put in that basic effort, instead just uploading the raw output of their translation engine. I really don't get why you even upload something that didn't take effort, after all if anyone else can do what you did with minimal effort required, you're not even saving them any work.

I don't post much but god damn does this site need a policy on AI translated works, either a ultimatum of having NO uploads using it or some sort of quality assurance that you are only allowed to upload it if it has be checked through for quality (something like Blublab123 mentioned). Cuz stuff like this is just straight unreadable garbage.

AI is meant to support creators/translators not wholesale replace them, its why they suck so bad at it :/
