why the "male:gender change" tag??

@GETPREGNATEGET0 Because The Beast from Over The Garden Wall is typically a guy. Or at least he looks and sounds like he's a guy. This is a female version of the character, so the tag applies.

The rationale here is that even if they aren't shown changing sex, their form in the gallery is a gender swap of what we expect them to look like.

...shockingly in-character for The Beast, both the lie about the lantern's purpose, and the probable implication that she'd probably turn the guy into a tree if he didn't exhaust her first through all the fucking, a bit like the more crass iterations of the various folklore about outwitting the devil that inspired The Beast...

...tho points deducted because "Cum wayward souls" was righ there and the quthor just missed it. Also, somebody should show this to Patrick McHale, I am morbidly curious about his potential reaction.
