I actually had to ponder over this part quite a bit while translating, too. The original text is 一点东西 with pauses in between each word (I believe the artist knows both chinese and japanese and so chinese is technically one of the source languages). This, in Chinese, directly translates to "A little bit of something", and so I could have chosen to just say "I added something to your tea" or "I spiked your tea with some drugs". However, tone here needs to be playful with emphasis on the "something", so I took a mostly esoteric phrase and inserted it here to try my best to match the tone while also keeping the translation as literal as possible. I also tend to write much more formally than I speak, and so in my head I actually treat it exactly as you describe: "a lil' sum'm sum'm" lol
