Just by tweaking colors and getting rid of transparency.
If you use PS you can process every image in a batch with a few clicks. This is even easier to do with such masterfully clean pages, good job for that.

Edit:@saegen_wa I don't use GIMP regularly, mostly because it can't run "actions" in batches (at least not easily), sry. But it is worth checking the forums, there are a bunch of guides and good info there.
