Kinda lame end, the boss and the wife became an item with their affair, the first guy felt humiliated though he was the very reason the wife got blackmailed, typical video letter to the husband where the boss kinda apologises to the husband, the boss saying he divorced because he went through the same as him and that he's ready to face the consequences, husband feels the cuckening again but goes back to work saying it was al his fault to start with, there never is a confrontation or a resolution with the wife-husband affair just that the husband wont tell his wife that he knows. Lame.

Yeah, pretty much a coward pretending to be a big shot, but usually being sent to Thailand is a low-key way to get rid off troublesome workers, maybe someone (likely their female coworker and friend of the wife) reported him and the company just deal with it without causing much scandal.
