Using neon shades of colors to the extent you are here is just a really really bad idea. Visually it creates a lot of issues, you are also going to give some readers a migraine.

Love the series, although I do agree that the amount of extremely bright neons is... getting a bit overwhelming. I don't think it ruins things, but it's scaled up over the course of things that I feel like it is starting to detract.
