Okay so what exactly is going on with this family here? Putting aside the fact that Krystal was raised on a planet with customs and culture that should make her a little more laid back, I can't help wondering. Did Krystal actually see what her son Marcus was daydreaming about from page 6-9?

Marcus admits that he isn't a telepath nor does he possess any mental powers like his mother, but one would think that Krystal would be able to see what goes on in his head. Marcus did say Krystal was capable of as much. This plot feels awkward with a son having lewd sexual fantasies about his mom and her doing the same with her son. It makes the actual events feel jarring, not to mention the "sweet home Alabama" undertones it implies. I really can't Tell what Krystal did and didn't see in Marcus' head because Krystal's internal monolog on page 14 almost implies she knew or could hear what her son was thinking based of the choice of words on display. If I'm wrong here then don't hesitate to let me know your interpretation or reading of things.

Gotta say this whole story feels like total downer for any Star Fox fans. Out of all the numerous endings available Star Fox Command, only a handful of them were any decent. Only a select few actually had happy endings where Krystal and Fox reconciled their relationship and feelings. The ending where Fox and Krystal settled down and had a family was one of the better endings in my honest opinion. So seeing Krystal have her relationships seemingly fall apart after she finally had them all mended fells icky.

I can only pray that the author/artist brings Fox into the sequel to this if they do plan to make an follow up comic. Or if that isn't in the cards maybe we can have Krystal and Marcus cope with Fox's absence with something more wholesome. Maybe have the comic show Krystal recount how she met Fox or things she learned about his family like James McCloud or even Fox's mother Vixy Reinard, who according to comics published by Nintendo was killed by Andross in a bomb meant to take out James.

Seeing some hint to their family getting on track to being healthy again would be nice. Anything but seeing Fox's wife cheat on him while he's not home, Fox getting cucked, or Krystal getting reamed by a whole room full of dudes. All of thatbstuff has been done to death by now and there's barely any content with Fox and Krystal being actual lovers.
