the thing most holding this back is the ai art. Not that it is ai art in and of itself, but that it is very clear that the ai art is limiting artistic vision. Which is funny, considering that I bet the person making this might be a terrible artist and this is the only way for him to make it. Making it a catch 22.
I'm the author of this comic (I don't want to say artist since I don't feel like I deserve to be called like one, but maybe author is fine since I still wrote the scenarios dialogues and everything ?) I wanted to respond a bit to these comments :
I agree with the fact that my comic (and all of my comics in general) are held back by the fact that I'm using AI instead of drawing everything myself.
@Masterzelda123 was right when he said that I'm a terrible artist and using AI is the only way for me to make my comics. It might not be the only way though, I coudl've been courageous, took a lot of drawing lessons, practices etc...
But I'll be frank, I just didn't want to go through so many hardships and choose the easy way, and I feel like it's only fair that the result isn't equal to what a real artist could've done, it proves that AI still has a lot of limitations.
Another way for me could've been to find an artist who would willingly accept that I'd make the scenarios for his comics, but I feel like most of them can already take care of the scenarios by themselves.
Nonetheless, I started Simon's curse something like 1 year ago, since then I've made a lot of progress in learning graphism and using the AI, and am now able to make better quality comics than what I did with Simon's curse.
I hope you'll enjoy the comics that I'll be making and posting here from now on.
I wish you all the best, Kramkrame

@Kramkrame You have a good head on you. You look at the reality of you position and face it head on.
"But I'll be frank, I just didn't want to go through so many hardships and choose the easy way," This is not necessarily true. To someone who cannot understand computers and operate them, using ai would be considered the much harder path. And to be frank, even if you had taken all the lessons, there is no guarantee that you would have been able to draw well. As someone who went to art lessons, I can assure you that not everyone in those lessons were going to be able to draw, no matter how much time they put into it.
Like everything else in life, there are innate talents and personalities required for all things. Whether it is art, work, or even just daily life. There is no shame in having one over another, nor in knowing your own limits. All you must do is find the path best for yourself and move forward, head held high. Believe in the path you have chosen.
I look forward to your future works.
Best of luck; to all who read this. masterzelda123
