@rennug Misato Katsuragi. she is one of the main characters of the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise. one of the oldest, and most well known, Mech anime.

far more geared at a mature audience then Gundam.

honestly the original series can be more then a little fucked up when you deep dive the lore. it deals with a lot of Psychological issues, and many of the characters are just outright BROKEN inside. they put up a strong façade, but beneath the surface? there is something fundamentally shattered about these people.
