you know what...I despise furry. Fucking hate the concept of furry, but honestly I just hate the fucking prepubescent marie-suing of furry when they are trying to tell a story. But this...this is pretty good. Sure its ticking all the furry checklist fetish but...its not on the nose and the way the story is told really pull me in. Hell I want to know more. What's the dark goddess? Are they evil? Why are they considered evil? What's the taint? What's happening? Mammal?

This story started out pretty alright and stuff with the background and whatnot, but that second chapter just got dumb.

Honestly, it looks like it really wants to be dumb. I don't mind, at least. It reads well enough.
I do have a problem with the blatant lack of porn, though. As it stands, this comic is more of a sexy, perverted comic, than doujin, hm? like a lot of 3D-works, tbh.

Yyyyeah, this artist loves to do things intentionally dumb and over-the-top… but a lot of the time it flies past genre-savviness/irony and goes straight into confusing and stupid. Like a fanfic writer who thinks themselves above the tropes about fanfic writers, but in reality is just as bad as the ones they’re ridiculing.

Here's the thing, the artist of this comic is not the writer that's Firedrive24. Pretty much all of thebigbadwolf01 comics are him just doing the art and the commissioners going crazy with the script.

I like bigbadwolf's artstyle just fine despite it's quirks, but this story contains a hivemind, mass corruption by way of sex cult, and hot goo herm people, some of my top fetishes, and yet I'm somehow bored. I have no idea what anyone wants, the story meanders in weird directions constantly, and we're several pages into the sexy goo transformation with no real indication as to what it was even for. The attempts at humor are hit or miss, too. Someone better assimilate that unflappable little twink soon, goddamn it!

That corruption sequence near the start when they recruit the wolf? Where our goddess' power immediately opens a third eye on everyone and they all start making love with their newly-hermed, newly-curved bodies? Sexiest shit imaginable. Downhill ever since. The fact that we go through a church of a prudish light god without that happening again is criminal. After all, isn't a deity that wants to become part of you and make you a part of her in return, exposing you to both worldly and divine pleasure, inherently more appealing than a god that just demands chastity and subservience? Maybe I think too much when I fap, i don't know.

Like Chainjailhunter said, this isn't bigbadwolf's fault, he's just drawing what he's told. I just hope we can find the rails again, because this comic is always teetering on being great and somehow just always leaning away from it.
